Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (SS-2) is used for plant or road mixes like Slurry Seal, Fog Seal/ Crack Seal, Premix Seal Coat and for Prime coat applications. SS-2 having a low quantity of solvent enables slow deposition of the bituminous film.
Slow Setting grades of emulsion are designed for maximum stability. Slow setting consumes a long time to form a bituminous film with the best penetration on a porous medium aggregate and used for Prime coat.
